On November 9th, Congress approved the vacancy of President Martín Vizcarra, igniting institutional instability and a profound political crisis. Just within a week, three presidents were designated, as the largest protests in the country’s history took place. After the death of two protestors and the resignation of Manuel Merino, the country tries to regain stability, amidst the debate for a new constituent assembly.
