Andrea de la Serna Alegre
is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Legal Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She holds a PhD in Anthropology from the Centre for Research and Advanced Studies in Social Anthropology (CIESAS) in Mexico City and specialises in legal anthropology, political anthropology and the anthropology of the state. Her work focuses on state anthropology, as well as violence and disappearance in Mexico.
