R. Aída Hernández Castillo

is Mexican, holds a PhD in Anthropology from Stanford University, and is a Full Research Professor at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies in Social Anthropology (CIESAS) in Mexico City. She is also a member and co-founder of the Latin American Feminist Anti-Prison Network.
