Gabriela Sarmet

is an advisor for Amazon Watch in Brazil, coordinator of the Decolonial Centre (DCC), and holds a Master's degree in Violence, Conflict, and Development from SOAS. Additionally, she researches land-related conflicts and the connections between governments and extractive sectors in the Amazon and the Atlantic Forest.
