Riyad Insanally

is a Commissioner of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and a citizen of Guyana. He studied Modern Languages and Latin American Studies and holds Master of Arts and Master of Philosophy degrees from the University of Cambridge, as well as a doctorate from Harvard University. He has more than 31 years of experience in multilateral diplomacy.
